If your SASSA SRD application was cancelled, expired, or you never applied before, you can reapply for the R370 grant online. Here is how.

Who Needs to Reapply?

You need to reapply if:

How to Reapply Online

  1. Go to srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19
  2. Enter your 13-digit SA ID number
  3. Enter your active South African phone number
  4. SASSA sends an OTP — enter it to verify your identity
  5. Add your banking details (bank name and account number)
  6. Submit your reapplication

SASSA will run verification checks and send you an SMS within 30 days.

Reinstate a Cancelled Application

If you cancelled your SRD application but want it back:

  1. Go to srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/reinstate
  2. Enter your ID number and phone number
  3. Follow the prompts to reinstate your application

Reinstatement is only available if you cancelled voluntarily. If SASSA cancelled your application for policy reasons, you need to submit a fresh application.

Reapplication Pending — What Does It Mean?

If your status shows “Reapplication Pending”, it means:
